Question ASUS M5A97 R2.0 in Fractal Design Case

I had heating problems in my old case and I bought a Fractal Design case and some fans. I was surprised with the structure of those cases. I had to buy extension cables to connect to the PSU. I got the green light on when the CPU is connected to power, but I have not managed to switch on the computer. I only hear a click in the PSU and nothing starts. Is there anything I have missed? Something not compatible? The reset and power seems to be the normal connection.

Hmmm, your board makes me think you're dealing with an FX processor. Might want to list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Also, see if the system operates while breadboarded. You should also state what the age of the PSU is and what sort of extensions you'd used.
