No I already have that processor unlocked in my old motherbard.I want to to know Asus M5A97 R2.0 has core unlocking option like my old motherboard.

The M5A97 does, but in R2 the setting was removed from BIOS.

Yes, after searching the web for information, it seems like nobody has succeeded so far in unlocking the cores with this board. Because ASUS has blocked this feature on all R2.0 motherboards.
