does Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 have PATA RAID??

what do you mean by RAID

No, PATA is an IDE type drive, and the mobo doesn't support IDE drives. RAID is away of taking 2 or more individual hard drives and in effect having them act as a single Drive which can increase drive performance, there's techno babble that goes into it but that sums it up

M5A99X EVO R2.0 has raid 0,1,5,10 but does M5A99FX PRO R2.0 have it??
I have checked in the asus website and there was nothing mentioned about it !!

Just looked and didn't see it either, seems odd the higher cost mobo doesn't have it 🙁

Yes the M5A99FX PRO R2.0 supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 using the 5 gray SATA ports connected to the SB950 chipset.

Checked the manual and, Yes, it does support RAID, wonder why it's not in the advertising?
