I am getting random system crashes after days of system stability since my upgrade. I installed a new motherboard and processor. At first it was only crashing under heavy load, gaming & streaming. (edit - deleted)
EDIT: I enabled DOCP (previously dram freq options were abstract, not normal) and am leaving it at 1600 currently. I changed the timing to the proper 9-11-11 (was 11-11-11), I left the next tRAS 28 & tRC 40 because I am not sure about them.
I have seen many threads with similar issues. It seems a normal procedure is to boost DRAM +0.06v and NB/CPU +0.05v --- I have not done that though. I am not sure with the bios if the amount i am entering is the TOTAL value or just the ADDITIONAL value. I suppose this is my primary question currently.
The DOCP enable/obtaining proper dram freq already seems to start up faster. I will run some game benchmarks and/or ram stress tests to see if I can get her to crash again. (also double checked to make sure my ram placement was in proper slots)
