Hey guys,

I built my own PC 14 months ago - no problems at all until yesterday it just stopped booting. No error message on LED's, when you hit power button LED's flash and fans spin for half a second then nothing.

I haven't moved the PC, haven't updated BIOS, nothing changed to my knowledge.

It stopped booting but after a few days of randomly hitting the power button before work it actually booted one morning and worked completely fine until I powered it off. Now it won't boot again.

The SupremeFX fancy red light is no longer glowing, just the Start and Reset buttons. Does this scream anything obvious?

I'm updating BIOS atm through the USB flashback method, haven't removed the CMOS yet but that will be my next step. Following that I will probably have to try breadboarding though I resent having to do that considering nothing changed and it's a hassle seating the MoBo on my case.

Any other recommendations guys?

Thanks for the help

Conor.

Are you seeing lit LEDs, fan spinning and such ?

What PSU ?

Can you get into BIOS ?
Check the system date / time .... if not correct, read some of these:

Nope, fans spin for a half second then stop, LED's flash.

PSU is EVGA 650W SuperNOVA NEX650G

No error code as it won't boot.

Will get my reading on, thanks.

On board LED's don't light up long enough to see an error code I'm afraid.

Updated BIOS, removed CMOS and still no boot.

haha! I wouldn't mind if I had more time.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep this thread updated in case anyone stumbles across it with the same problems.
