Question Asus Maximus Hero XI BIOS update?

I currently have a maximus hero XI and it's been outdated for a while. I downloaded the new BIOS update and went to flash utility 3 and was about to update. When I was a message popped up and told me I needed to be aware and that I should disable device encryption for bitlocker. The problem is I have windows 10 (HOME) and I believe I don't have bitlocker. Any help? I just don't want to be locked out or lose anything.

try the flash utility within the bios itself, and see what happens. (it downloads and installs by itself)
if it says the same thing there may be some encrytion happening somewhere.

I was going to but the problem is i'm scared if something gets messed up with windows. Just before I installed it that warning popped up. Not really sure if it will affect me I just don't want to be locked out of windows or anything.
