I hope everyone's doing well. This is my first time posting here. Let me first say that I'm not computer expert but I consider myself pretty tech savvy. I've just finished building a PC for my son. Let me first explain to you all the components I've used and then I will pose the question:
i7 6700k
Thermaltake Water 360 Riing Cooloer
Asus Maximus IX Formula
Asus Strix GTX 1070OC
2x16GB Kingstoin Hyper X Fury (Red)
Thermaltake Copre P3 Case
Intel 240GB SATA SSD
WD Mainstream 1TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops
I also notice that the 3 Thermaltake fans are running at very low constant speed. Perhaps because there is not much strain on the system at this time. If I go to bios > monitor > Q-Fan configuration and click on Q-fan tuning, I can see the fans speed up for calibration and then back to idle when done.
Also, as you may know, (for the Thermaltake water 360), each fan has a cable coming out of it which connects to the controller. From the controller, there is one cable coming out that plus to the motherboard. I have that cable plugged in to the CPU_Fan connector (highlighted) if you look at the attached pic. Also, there is a connector coming out of the Thermaltake water head (sitting on top of the CPU) which I have plugged into the AIO_Pump connector (highlighted) in the attached pic. This cable only has 3 pin connection spots whereas the AIO_Pump connector on the board has 4 pins. I'm currently plugged into the right-most 3 of those 4 Pins.
I just want to make sure these two cables are plugged into where they are supposed to be plugged into. Everything else seems good to go.
Thank you in advance for all your help!
