I have build a PC and have come across a problem with the motherboard not displaying the video output and no sound of beep when turned on. I have removed the ram and the external video card. I have researched and I have found on my motherboard that the Q code is 00 when turned on, and ONLY the CPU lights up in red!

Spec -
CPU: i5 4690k LGA 1150
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI gene
RAM: 4 by 8 gb/DDR3 1600
Video Card: NVIDA Geforce GTX 770

If you need any further information and details please let me know I will respond ASAP!

Solution
Just follow the steps below.
Download latest version from http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VI_GENE/HelpDe...
Unzip and use BIOS renamer (in BIOS utilities, same ASUS page) for renaming the file
Save the renamed file on a FAT32 formatted flash drive. Connect it to the Flashback USB port (check the manual for its location).
Make sure that the 24 pin cable is connected to the board and PSU switch is on
Don't start the board.
Press the Flashback button for 3 seconds. The Flashback led should flash for several minutes. Wait until it finishes.
It's an old board. You have to update the BIOS, using Flashback.
