Asus Maximus VI Hero owners

For those of you who own a Z87 Hero board if you know or would kindly measure the gap between the two red pcie 3 slots that would be amazing. I'm trying to see how much of a gap will be between two Asus Matrix Platinum gpus for cooling purposes. I know the gap between the two is big enough to fit two of those cards in them. Just curious to how much breathing space the top card will have.

I don't have one, but, since (I'm assuming) Matrix cards are all 3-slot cards, it looks like they will both barely fit, let alone leave any room for the top card to breathe.

I've watched a review of them crossfired and look like a quarter inch gap. The review said neither ever reached over 70 degrees. So its looking good. Still want to know the exact distance though

I'm confused. Aren't all of the PCIe/PCI slots in ATX boards spaced at the same spacing? Couldn't you get this dimension from any ATX board??
