Asus maximus vi hero start button

The ROG Maximu VI hero has a start button on the motherboard and I need to press it every time I want to turn on my pc, however once the pc is on, I can use the power button on the case, any ideas on how to fix this?

Corsair carbide 200r.

I dont have any experience with that case - not sure if its a simple switch or if there its one of those touch sensitive types with a special cable for power etc. Might wanna try reversing the connector and see if that helps. Would also reach out to Corsair if nothing else works.
