Question Asus Maximus VII Hero MB and Nvidia 1060 GPU

I am looking to upgrade my video card on my desktop. I am presently running an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VII HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Gaming Motherboard and would like to put a Nvidia 1060 series card in it. I am wondering if the MB will be compatible, also I was running an SLI setup with two monitors but after my hard drive died and i got it replaced my system no longer recognizes the second monitor. The guy at the shop questioned my PSU which is the following. CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX850 (CMPSU-850AX) 850W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full ... The video cards are this ASUS ROG STRIKER-GTX760-P-4GD5 G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support ... Any help would be greatly appreciated since i am not very savy when it comes to computers. Any advice on a good video card would be greatly appreciated also. Thank You.

Ax should run those GPU's without issue at all.
Have you enabled SLI in nvidia control panel?
Have you checked the monitor is in fact getting recognized by card,
how did you connect monitors to which GPU's (Like both to 1 or seperate).
