Question Asus Maximus vii Hero Mobo

So recently I've tried to power my PC back on the next day only for it to not boot up. I thought it was a bad drive so I downloaded another OS to my other drive and tried to boot from it. It booted ONCE and while it was up I ran a test on my drives and they both were fine. After powering down again I can't even boot to bios now. I have no display and Mobo code shows AO which is a good boot. I've removed all drives, all USB devices, GPU, switch ram sticks around and single use ram stick, flackbacked my BIOS, Tested PSU, cleared CMOS, installed new battery. Sometimes I would get A2 with drives connected. No new parts no surges nothing out of the ordinary. I don't know what to check anymore I believe it's my Mobo just going out with the finicky response with the codes.

Mobo = Asus Maximus vii Hero
GPU = GTX 980 Ti
RAM = 16 GB DDR3

Might try re-seating the CPU at this point. Pretty good run for a 4th gen system though so you may be right, just a failing board.

When in doubt, full dis-assembly.

yup pulling and cleaning up around the CPU didn't fix anything. while I had it out I took a good look at all the capacitors and didn't find anything wrong.

What make model and year is your PSU?

evga supernova 850 G2 PSU. Bought it I wanna say maybe 8 or 9 years ago.
