Hey guys, so my last thread I was having a problem getting my system up and I had figured it was my Motherboard or CPU and i got a new CPU in the mail yesterday and that wasnt it, so i filled a return claim on amazon and went to get a new mobo down at my local Micro Center here in Orange County CA... Well i went from a ASUS Maximus VI Extreme to a Maximus VII Hero and that fixed my initial problem of my pc not starting, but now with this motherboard i cant get my Ethernet/LAN Drivers to work or even show a signal of any kind... I installed the most recent LAN and Chipset drivers off the ROG website for my version of windows (8.1 pro, however upgrading to 10 once i get a internet connection.. (win8.1 all i have on cd right now) At first It would show a network adapter driver under Network Adapters in Device Manager, but now im just getting a error when i install the network driver: Cannot Install drivers, No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer...

EDIT:

I dont even get a LED signal when i plug in my ethernet cable to the Mobo..

I have enabled Microsoft SNMP.

My Ethernet cable is indeed working/plugged in/functioning (im using it on this laptop to make this thread) the LED light comes on and everything

I did, I am about to try just downloading all the mobo drivers to USB and doing a full mobo driver update.. But I have a i7 4790k... this wont affect anything with the haswell updates right?? the VII Hero was adappted for the update right? i dont have to do some kinda bios flash if i reinstalled them right?
