Asus maximus vii ranger bios delete key won't work

Hi ive just putt together a Asus maximus ranger II and a i74790k with 8gb of 1600 hyper fury x memorie. And when it starts up it won't let me press enter to enter bios to set up or recover biso settings. Ive got a keyboard plugged into the USB and it lets me press ctr alt delete together but that just reboots the system. So I can't press enter or f1 to enter the biso.. And the motherboard has the a2 code showing.. But don't know if that's just because of it not letting me into bios to configure settings.. And I've got a 980ti and a 700w psu.. Can you please help me?? I as I am at a loss.. I've tried without the gpu. But then it throws up a 99 error code..

Hi, Try clearing the CMOS (power cord unplugged).

I've done that.. I am in ufei now but not sure how to get it to boot form my ssd just keeps booting into bios??
