Question Asus Maximus viii formula bios ways to flashing back

I reasonly got hold of the 6gen i7 es "qhqf" and was happily going to flashback the bios of this M8F z170 board to get this chip working, but it just not happening due to once you are with the 7gen bios of this motherboard, you can't go back to the old??

The latest of M8F bios is 3801, which any bios version beginning with "3" is still flashiable, such as version 2202 and b4 can not be flash.

does anyone know anyway to get this kind of cpu working on asus maximus motherboard?

An option would be ordering a BIOS chip on ebay and replacing the board's one.

By the way,. any BIOS version should support the 6th gen CPU.

I believe the latest Bios should support 6th gen also but this engineering sample of i7 I've been told to downgrade the bios so can get into post screen. There is something Intel has done to block the assess of this chip once sample period end, which something before the 7th gen of Bios version should allow it to get post screen.

It could be. Try then the roll-back method and, if not working, you can order a chip.
