Asus Maximus VIII Hero CPU Fan Speed Error

I was away from home for about 4 days and when I got back my system would not launch, and told me there was a cpu fan speed error (see attached). As I said, I was away so I didn't mess around with any of the components between the time it was working and now. I will also attach a picture of the internal in case that helps, but the CPU fan is in the right header... I don't know what the problem is.

I really need some help on this one, thanks in advance.

I switched some pump and fan headers around and was able to get into windows, but temperatures were climbing pretty quickly. At the very least thaat tells me it's probably not the motherboard or cpu that is broken; the most likely culprit is the aio cooler.

Evidently either the aio pump or the pump power cable is broken, which is much less of a problem than I had initially thought. Will have to do an rma with corsair. I guess this thread is solved.
