So I recently purchased an asus maximus viii hero motherboard for my i7 6700k and various upgrades. It was a fresh pc build, all brand new components, except for the hard drives. The hard drives came straight out of my previous computer which was anice AMD A10-5800k. The problems that I'm having are such that I cannot read any USB storage device. It's picking up my key oars and mouse but not anything else. I enjoy tried my phone and 4 various USB sticks. I thought it may be something to do with the different drivers needed for the different motherboards so I wiped my ssd and started a fresh. I had to install windows off a laptop for reasons (maybe that might effect it?). Once I had put the ssd back into my rig it booted up but still had the same issue... any solutions?

Solution
Try starting get to Win, then unplug the keyboard and try the USB stick in the Keyboard USB slot - an alternate that may take a bit is to load all the Win updates, or burn to a CD and load via a SATA CD/DVD drive (can probably borrow one if you don't have one. Pull the drive and stick in another computer and put them in a folder on your harddrive is another possible
Trouble is, is that when I download it it has to be on a separate device because the computer itself has no Internet connection. Nor does it have any USB controller drivers for some reason
