ASUS MAXIMUS VIII RANGER for i5 6500/ i7 6700

i almost done with my PC,the last part i need is mobo. i watched review on youtube about maximus viii ranger and they said that maximus viii ranger only work for i5 6600K and i7 6700k. is that true?
