ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO or ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Professional Gaming or ASROCK Z370 TAICHI ?

I am between these three. I'm building an i7 8700k, 32gb ddr4 and 1080ti.

I'm after quality, looks and high overclocking capability.

I would never spend that much on a board you might get a extra 0.1 / 0.2 overclock for double the price.

This is a solid board and a good overclocker.

But the ASRock z370 Extreme 4 is a good board for the money.

I’d go for the Hero. Any better motherboard then the Hero ? I don’t need extra ports. Just best quality, best sound quality, good looks and most importantly over clocking capabilities.

Asus makes several highend z370 motherboards (Apex and Code), but I dont think they are worth the additional cost over the Hero. Gigabyte Gaming 7 is another good board. MSI has a z370 Godlike Gaming board, not sure if you can still can get it, but it is pretty much as high end as they come and definitely not worth the money.

Asus Apex is built for overclocking.

Code is the same as the Hero but with added features and some estetics tweaks.

But performance + price... I would not go higher than Hero.
