Before flashing to 0802 my 8700k was (on stock settings) turboing to 4.7ghz and now I'm capped at 4.3ghz (with Cinebench up and elsewhere).

I know this isn't THE problem but I can't even try to hit above 55C when before I was running 75C under load...

I know *NOTHING* about overclocking at the moment but I noticed before CPU voltage would hit 1.42V at times and now it won't go higher than 1.29V

Edit: So...reading around learning that voltage is VID not Vcore, I dont know what my previous max VCore was at but it's showing a max 0.64V at the moment.

I have another problem with that. I flashed through "Asus EZ Update", just the one that was suggested to me that happened to be 0802 BUT...

When I attempt to use EZ Flash in BIOS with the .CAP file with a USB drive it says "this is not a proper BIOS" or something along those lines.

The USB drive is formatted to FAT32 and I even renamed the file both M10H.CAP and M10HWIFI.CAP and still having the same issue.

EDIT: Oh...how handy. I didn't even realize I had a BIOS Flashback button...Although I still would like to update to current version, nice to have.

Okay, I was finally able to update to the newest BIOS version. However...

I still have the same problem. CPU Speed capping at 4.3ghz in Cinebench (Basically as if MultiCore Enhancement was disabled but it isn't.)

I can OC to 5.0ghz just fine but...

EVEN AFTER the OC, I log into games that I was getting 60+ FPS on and I'm running 15 FPS now.

I updated BIOS to 1003, tried clearing CMOS, I am now reformatting and reinstalling Win10 but I doubt that will fix it.

After that, I have not a SINGLE clue what else to try. Please help =(

There's almost 0% chance that any of the hardware is faulty because the problem happened RIGHT after a BIOS flash (And all my clock speeds are fine, Cinebench has the same score it did before, but my games are lagging to hell)

Specs:
8700k
Asus Maximus X Hero (Wifi)
2x16gb 32gb 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX
GTX 1060

I'll love you forever if you can help me fix this, thanks in advance.
