I ordered a "ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX gaming board with double-sided ROG Armor" for my system Build and some "G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9Q-16GBSR" and Im afraid its not compatible. Can you guys help me out and tell me if I need to order different RAM or if this will work?

Sorry for jumping to the better recommendation instead of answering your question ^^; The 4 dimm kit works in dual channel, so pretty much you would have 2 kits of 2x4 on the mobo. That would limit the amount of ram you can add to the system but, 16 gbs of memory is quite enough for most users, even multitasking.

I only ordered it like that due to the price. I was just worried that the memory wouldnt be compatible and I have already sent in my order. I plan on ordering the 8GBx2 like you said a little later on and using the 4x4GB in my old rig. Thanks for helping out and easing my nerves! lol
