Asus Memo Pad 7

I need help I got this tablet at bestbuy it came in a bundle. When I got home to open it I turned it on and a battery with a question mark poped up. I ignored it and charged it overnight I woke up and the same thing happens it shows the battery with the question mark and then it turns off.

Seems like a recurring problem with this tablet - easiest fix might be to exchange it.

I looked at the first article and it said that they held the volume and power button together so I did that and it sent me to a DroidBoot Provision OS. What do I do?

is the battery in?

i seem to recall they store the battery inside the tablet with a plastic tab or something to keep it from being connected to the tablets electrical supply. try popping the back off that tablet and double checking there isn't any tape or something keeping the battery from connecting.

I wouldn't want to do that because my dad doesn't want to he said we might return it if I don't find an answer on the internet.

Well, the article states it held volume DOWN + power - if you got to that menu it means you help volume UP + power.

No matter - just choose recovery and choose wipe data/factory reset and let it do it's thing.

but the back of the memo pad is meant to be taken off. i know i own one.
