Asus mini itx motherboard bios reset

So, I need help fast as I am building a mini itx system very very soon.

I ordered a used Asus P8H61-I LX R2.0

When I did a test boot to make sure it worked it booted fine, but the splash screen said RM, which I believe is a company of computers that schools use, then it had like some sort of lines of text saying random stuff which I believe is because it is meant for a school PC.

How can I full reset the whole bios, so it removes the splash screen and resets absolutely EVERYTHING to the default?

You can try updating the board's BIOS, but it might not work (custom BIOS).
Other method is ordering a BIOS chip on ebay and replacing the board's one.

Or bite the bullet & buy a new retail board. I would never buy a used one, or any used PC component for that matter.

Definitely not.

Oh, so I can still run it like a normal system? Just the bios will be different?

Yes, you'd use it like any other system. Probably some OC-ing options are not available in BIOS.

That's no problem for me since I can't overclock on that motherboard anyway, and I have an i5 3340, so it doesnt matter anyway
