Question Asus MOBO code 40?

What does the number 40 mean on ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI WiFi? I know it means "OEM post memory initialization code" but what exactly would that mean?

You might want to specify when you see that code and if this is a new build. On top of that, you should pass on your full system's specs like so:

You should also check and see if you have any bent or broken pins on the socket. Double check to see that the rams are populating the right slots per your manual.
