[SOLVED] Asus Mobo q code 00 after a bluescreen

So I have a q-code 00 all of a sudden with the cpu led lit up.

Everything I have is relatively new. Its been running for a month or so.

cpu : 9900k

mobo : asus hero wifi

psu : 850w rmx

gpu: 2080


Nothing wrong with the system until today I did a few things. Added 3 fans to the system. Plugged in a low profile 20-1 pin connector so I could finally use my case usbs. And last but not least I changed out the hdmi cables for display port cables. System booted fine. Everything running. I fiddled with the dual monitor setup for a sec cause it was they were on the wrong sides. adjusted the refresh rate to 144 hz. Everything fine so far. Moved around some windows that loaded with the system and opened up a video and noticed no sound. When i opened the sound to switch it from the monitors(no speakers) to my speakers the system bluescreened with the dxgkrnl.sys error. Waited for windows to do its analysis but after 5 mins or so there was no change so I restarted the system. And now ive got q-code 00 and no boot.


Any suggestions?


Done a bit of googling but Im not sure Im ready to accept the cpu being dead yet given it was literally just working fine @ good temps before the blue screen.

I'd try clearing the CMOS and testing different power supply. If still 00, I'd RMA the CPU.
