I'm currently looking for parts to build my computer and I'm stuck between the asrock fatal1ty professinal gen 3 and the asus p8z68-v pro. First I'm getting a motherboard that supports integrated graphics because I will be waiting for the radeon 7xxx series and the nvidia 6xx (or 7xx series) so I will be using my onboard graphics. Personally I think I like the fatal1ty because of the more features but I'm in doubts since I heard that asrock isn't a really good brand and their customer support is bad. Second I heard that most people like asus.

Parts I'm using:
i7 2600k
NZXT case
Nh-d14 cooler
radeon 7xxx or gtx 6(7)xx- will currently be using the intel hd 3000
CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1333C9
And will be using a temporary hard drive and will not be getting an ssd

Also I might get the 64 bit windows 7, I heard theres problems with the fatal1ty in that area also. Is that true?

Boy if I had $1 for every ASUS vs ASRock post :)

On any SB 'K' you want atleast 12+ phases to OC with a low vCore which spells ASUS.

Good choices:
2. Z68 $199.99 ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131790
1. P67 (no iGPU) $159.99 ASUS P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131771

Don't get the Corsair XMS3, and instead:
1. $49.99 CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345
2. $47.99 G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-8GBXM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231477

ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 (aka Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3) is fine. Most P67/Z68 problems are: 1. User created or 2. BIOS related ; update the BIOS.
