Asus Mobo z270e 1 long beep two short (repeated) on post

When I turn on my computer it beeps continuously doing a long beep first and then 2 shorter beeps after. I have looked online and have found various different things it could be so any help would be appreciated???

Usually, this is due to a memory module not functioning. I recommend if you have to sticks of ram try putting them in at individual times to test if one is broken

I'll try then soon would this cause the issue of not being able to view any display on the monitor or allow for my appliances to work

Ram is what feeds the CPU information so it is required for a pc to boot into bios and is most likely the reason the computer isn't booting,

However, I would also suggest removing and reinstalling the graphics card just to rule out its a video error.

Oh ok and yes I've done that and both the onboard and external one isn't working thank you for your response and hopefully my problem is fixed

Good luck with your pc hopefully it was just a ram stick wasn't properly installed

I don't think it was my psi fried so I think it took the ram with it

i think you were right but im not sure the person didnt tell me the exact answer. After re-installing windows my computer seems to be working again.
