I currently have 820$ for a build, and still saving(gonna get a 7950 /w 3570k), but I was wondering if

A 7870 is probably your best choice along with an older model Phenom II X4 965, there is no real need for any 8 core or the FM1 series in gaming, I have the 970 and games only use 40% CPU at the most....anyway any 21" or up moitor is good deal under $230.
