Question Asus Motherboard and Laptop incompatible with USB C/Thunderbolt KVMs?

I have a desktop with Asus Tuf Gaming B650 Plus Wifi motherboard, and have Asus Thunderbolt EX4 expansion card.

I'm trying to set up with dual monitor USB C KVM to no success. It does not detect the monitors through the KVM. I've tried multiple KVMs.

In addition, I have an Asus Laptop with Thunderbolt and having the same issue.

I've tried troubleshooting with the makers of multiple KVMS and Asus, to no success, and have been told incompatibility. I'm just extremely over it.

Anybody have suggestions?

I recently bought AV Access idock C10 which allows me to connect the the Tuf Gaming mobo via USB 3.0 and two HDMI, and that works, but I still cannot get the laptop to work at with the KVM through thunderbolt. I've tried multiple cables, so it's not that.

which KVM model is it?
firmware f KVM up to date?

BIOS of laptop up to date?

die you try different cables?

did you plug in the expansion card into the second PCIe 4.0/3.0 x16 slot (supports x4 mode) ?
BIOS of the motherboard up to date? Which version is currently on it?
