Question Asus motherboard anti-surge protection

I have an Asus Motherboard anti-surge. It never happened before saying the power supply is giving to much voltage to motherboard. I bought the power supply in April and now my pc keeps on restarting every 5 hours. I am not using the computer for any games but internet use. It started happening after my house power outage went out and the PC is plugged into a surge protector.
