Using a asus h-97 plus motherboard, recently i am getting the same beep code at same time everyday even though pc is switched off. The beep is 1 short, 3 short then a series of beeps.

Any idea how to fix this? No beep codes found in mb manual.

My system specs as follows:
-Intel i5-4460
-ASUS H97-plus mb
-2x4gb crucial ballistix ram
-corsair cx500m psu
-evga gtx950 ftw
-samsung 840 evo 250 gb
-WD blue 300gb

When my previous graphics card suddenly stopped working, I tried quite a few troubleshooting methods to confirm that the card was the culprit;including hitting the reset button, clearing CMOS,system restore to earlier timepoint..etc
Thereafter when i removed the graphics card from the rig, this beeping started. If I put the card back in, system POSTS but there is no display.
I installed a new graphics card yesterday and the issue persisted.

Tried removing the motherboard speaker but the beeps can still be heard....

If it beeps even when it's not turned on, and it beeps when the speaker is disconnected, the odds are: It's not your motherboard. Put the computer in another room and see where your beeps are coming from.

Very sure the beeps are coming from the computer, but if it is not coming from the motherboard like what jasonkaler said, any advice what other components could have caused this?

Compared to motherboard beeps, i realised the beeps coming from my computer is not as sharp or high pitched. But the beep pattern never changes, everyday same time.

Forgot to add that i also have an optical drive and 5 fans installed.

Any chance it is power surges?

If it happens at the same time every day then unplug the computer from the wall before this time and then see if you get the beeps.
if you do then it is not the computer.
If the noise only happens when the computer is plugged in but off then the only power that will be present is the 5V line,so what do you have plugged into the USB ports ? ,could it be something charging ?

They do not sound like the beeps that come from motherboard but i am very sure it is coming from the computer just not sure what component could cause this?

It is weird that the sounds can occur with such regularity and fixed pattern.

Maybe i can try and record the sound.
