I have a custom built computer (but not by me) with ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO EVA (LGA1700) motherboard. I like to use several SSD portable drives. The F8 key will show the drives available to boot from, then waits for me to select. Is there a setting of some kind where I can just turn the power on and the computer boots up to the drives screen where I don't have to press any key to get there? Wondering if Asus might have a hidden setting that users might not know about.

The video you posted was very interesting, I learned some thing I may need later on.
The option to set the annoying lights on or off is sort of comparable to the type of boot I would like.
I would think the manufacturer could let users set the boot options screen (but not the bios screen) to enable or disable at bootup. I was hoping Asus already had this, but guess not. Probably no one ever thought of it before, except me :)

But that's what F8 is for, to let you choose BOOT drive, otherwise it will boot to default drive. If default BOOT drive is not defined BIOS would probably ask for it without pressing F8.

Windows on main built in drive ? I like to use https://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/ to make Boot menu from which to choose OS to run. It can also be set to start of them automatically after preset time.
