Asus Motherboard MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z/GEN3 compatible with the GTX 1080 Ti?

I want to change my graphics card for a better one, will this GTX 1080 Ti work with my MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z/GEN3?

it should ?? I'd just maybe flash to the latest motherboard bios incase that helps with these latest cards compatibility - quite a few older boards like z68 had to get new bios support for the latest cards out today , but that's one of the stick it in and se where you stand thing
some did not need anything at all and some like with a gtx 970 just flat did not work [super unlucky models ]

i'll look around to see if anybody reported any issues ?

have both the gtx1080 from evga and the maximus iv gene-z/ gen3. the combo did not work at first. I had to upgrade the bois to the Version 3603(Only for Win7 & Win8) to get it all working properly. after that, super solid system

Okay, thank you for your fast reply... i'll update to the latest bios of my motherboard and i hope it works!
