I have an Asus motherboard and i am currently using Corsair iCue to monitor the temperatures on my system like my GPU, CPU, and Motherboard. iCue is showing my 6 different spots that reads temperatures on the motherboard. all the temperatures look good for idle except one. the spot titled Temp #5 is reading over 240 Degrees Fahrenheit. Is it just a bad reading or is there a problem with my MOBO? it is an ASUS P8B75-M

Quick edit; when playing a game/under load the CPU and GPU are at appropriate gaming temperatures and the MOBO actually dropped from 240 to 217. when I closed the game, the temp raised back to 240.

Solution
if you have Asus's AI Suite III installed, even though it's not running, un-install it, and after un-installing google for Asus's AI Suite III Cleaner utility - you run that in safe mode

AI Suite III causes conflicts in BIos and screwed my temp monitoring up

hope that helps

When i opened bios it only showed one temp for the mothboard and it read 30C/80F
Corsair iCUE still reads 260F on spot #5, spots 1-6 all read between 84/91F. only spot 5 over 250F.
