Hello there,

After fixing issues for my Bluetooth Intel card by switching the physical plug on the card and installing drivers, just randomly my headphones stopped working. I could still hear some popping sounds that happens every few seconds. They are plugged into the rear IO green and pink slots. I tried a system restore back a few days and now there is no sound at all. But when I plug something in to the headphone spot on the rear, it pops up in Windows Sound panel that something is plugged in.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I suspect that Windows has somehow disabled my outputs but I'm not sure how to re-enable them.
I don't think that the Realtek card is blown out because A: Bluetooth audio works no problem with my BT speaker. B: Audio was working fine before the restart. Perhaps the Bluetooth driver messed with something?

A. Check the headphone

B. Go to sound Sound properties under control panel, check which device has been set as default in case you've more than one device capable of audio playback. Set Realtek Digital Output as default device, in case some other device was selected.

C. Try rolling back the bluetooth drivers, this shall remove any doubts you've regarding the new drivers conflicting with the sound output.

A. Headphones work fine with other devices.

B. It is selected as the default device, all I hear is a faint high pitch whine.

C. I restored my PC back to Friday and even removed the entire Wifi module out of the equation and no difference is made.

Thanks for the suggestions though.
