There's no such thing as single-channel RAM or dual-channel RAM - - - it's all just RAM.


Single-channel & dual-channel are simply RAM operating modes which are determined by a number of factors.

^Yes, I was assuming he meant a single stick of RAM, which would only operate in single-channel. To operate in dual-channel you would need 2 sticks that are alike, preferably from a kit.

Yes you can, running dual or more channels will be faster but by a small amount. it should really come to how much gb is your ram, speed, and pricing. If you can afford it go for it, otherwise it shouldn't be a concern.
