Hey everyone,

My Aorus B650 Pro AX is done.
So I need a new one, I heard horror stories about ASUS B650 motherboards, is it still true?
Im opting for MSI B650 Tomahawk...

all of the ASUS boards i've owned, ~5 now over the last 12 years, have been pretty high quality manufacturing.
but, suffer from some terrible software issues.

MSI is probably the only manufacturer that i've used that had both high quality hardware and better software.

Sometimes it's a matter of back luck too. Once every hundreds of products one with a very tiny fault gets though QC and finds its way to the market and some user buys it and it fails sooner than it should.

All brands have good models and meh models. Generally you don't find the higher quality components (such as SMD parts capacitors, choks and MOSFETS etc) on low end boards; for obvious reasons. Which is keeping the manufacruing costs lower to keep the price lower.

Personally, I haven't had a bad experience with Asus and MSI boards over the years. That doesn't mean others like Gigabyte or ASRock are bad boards.
