Hello

I'm going to purchase Asus MX259H, I use Adobe products (mostly Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) for my work. Also I watch movies, tv seires a lot and reading pdf and epub documents. Now I'd like to know this monitor from Asus is fine and perfect for those tasks that I mentioned or not? I like its design, features and especially its big screen size.

Thank you in advance
Masoud😀

Solution
about the bleeding, i didn't noticed any kind of bleeding in the corners or anywhere in this monitor.
well the DVI is in the same level with HDMI just HDMI is a multi path for both audio and video but DVI is just for video but at the same quality as HDMI.
it does come with a DVI to HDMI cable so don't worry about the connection , using VGA however is not recommended due to it's low quality and limited bandwidth.
for the audio if you want to use DVI you should connect the audio through the line in cable that comes withing the box of the monitor.
It's a perfect monitor you chosen , thanks to it's AH-IPS panel you would have the best picture quality , the response time is very good you wouldn't have any problem with it,i use the MX279H for gaming with ps4 and watching movies with my pc and it's great, especially when it comes to sound, with the sonic master technology it create a sound and bass you expect form a 30W desktop subwoofer.

As I work with Adobe products, especially Adobe Illustrator to draw illustration, color is matter and key, I've heard about backlight bleeding in most modern display in Asus ones, do you see this problem in the one you have or this is rumour and exaggerated?
My graphic card is not very modern and doesn't HDMI port, it uses VGA and DVI ports, does Asus MX259H has HDMI to VGA cable i its box in default or not? Is it better to use HDMI to VGA cable or HDMI to DVI one for the best quality, or there is no difference between them?

Thanks

Thanks iXeon for the useful information. I'm going to order this fantastic display for two next days, but the last question is remain in my mind and like to know; is about the color of front frame of chassis (especially the bottom parts that the buttons are located). When I went to market, I see the color of front frame was silver (not pure black) and Asus website tells the color is Silver + Black.

https://www.asus.com/Monitors/MX259H/specifications/

I think it means the frame and border of screen is Silver and the back of monitor is Black (it doesn’t mean, this display has two versions of color for its chassis and frames I guess, doesn’t it). I don't care about the color of back, but I prefer the Silver color for front border, not Black (I hate it, lol). Now I want to be sure this display just has one version of chassis, not two (A whole silver or a whole black).

Best

Well ,there's no black panel version of this monitor , i didn't find any black version in the ASUS retail store or on the internet when i went to buy mine, and i think what you saying about the frames and panel is true. it means that the frames are black and the panel is silver. that's why they call it silver+black.

I've got the monitor about four hours ago. Assembled and use it since that time. lol. it's pretty nice design as I expected and read about it and everything is go well except the audio of speakers that I can't hear anything from them while I connected the audio cable. Also I restarted the machine, but nothing has changed. I’m confused with it. Try to communicate with Asus support as well.

Thanks
