I'm looking for a new monitor, and after a long search, I've narrowed my choices down to the following two:

These two monitors satisfy my budget. I'll be using it mainly for homework and programming, but also doing some light gaming (AOE2HD), and doing all of this by connecting my laptop to it.
I was just wondering if I could have some of your thoughts and input for these two monitors.
