ASUS MX279H vs. ASUS VX279Q

ASUS MX279H vs. ASUS VX279Q for 1080p PC gaming.

The first one I believe is an older model and has dual hdmi ports with no displayport. The second I believe is a newer model with one hdmi port and 1 displayport. I think the newer model has some features, but I'm not sure what they are.

There were articles saying something about "overdrive" but I really know what it is.

Regardless, which would be better for gaming + general use? (e.g. movies, etc.)

Those two monitors are almost identical. I have read that the MX279H is using better internal speakers than VX279Q if you plan to use monitor speakers. As I said before, specifications are almost identical so you won't notice any difference.
