Asus optical drive compatibility

I have a Corsiar Carbide Air 540. Will http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1B16S9HEII11V be compatible? And is this a good one? Should i look for a faster or more reliable one?

Yes, it's compatible. Unless you plan on ripping/burning an incredibly large number of DVDs, there's no sense in getting anything better/faster. You can usually find a DVDRW drive for about $15.

I would not trust the Lite-On drives. Nothing but problems with those in my experience.
