Here is my PC:http://pcpartpicker.com/list/fpQGLD

In my MOBO's BIOS, it gives me the option to set my pc to an "Asus Optimal" mode, which I assume overclocks my PC a bit, and i wanted to know if it is safe and if this will cause damage to any of my components...?

Solution
The option would not exist if it broke your pc by selecting it would it.

Optimal is just a basic setup where most of the settings are tweaked only slightly. Or to re set the system back to a safe set of perimeters known to work correctly.

A base setting in some cases, or factory default settings.
