Asus or Acer 27" LED Backlit LCD Monitor

Hello All,

I am looking at getting a new 27" monitor for my rig. Kind of waffling between the Acer and the ASUS.. (both have similar specs and price)

Wondering if anyone has any feedback on these two monitors...

The ASUS has more good reviews/reviews in general but the bad reviews are pretty consistent, (high pitched whine, stuck pixels, dead pixles)
The Acer has less reviews but the negative ones seem to be a bit more general..


What are your thoughts?

ASUS is better quality than Acer most of the time. I would get the ASUS.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was sort of leaning towards the ASUS. Do you have one? How do you like it?

I don't, however, whenever the question of ASUS vs Acer comes up, the consensus is always ASUS. I do have an ASUS mobo and love it though..

I have had good luck with Acer monitors.
