I am building a new pc for gaming at 1080p 144hz
I am bit confused between 2 cards the asus rog strix 1070 oc edition and the 1070ti founders edition i would like to mention that here i have the 1070ti founders edition available for 200$ cheaper than asus 1070
Which card should i buy
Will the cooling of founders edition be a problem
I wil be using coolermaster h500p case

Solution
1070ti is a no brainer choice.
Not only is it cheaper by a bunch, but it also has more CUDA cores and more texture units.
It will have 8gb of vram while some GTX1070 cards will have less.

The founder's edition will have a blower type cooler which I like better than the fan type coolers.
It gets the heat directly out the back of the case.
The cooling capacity is entirely adequate for the card.
I have a GTX1080ti with the blower cooler, and it never heats up and I never hear it.

Good question.
To find the difference, I googled "gtx 1070 ti vs gtx 1070"
and my first hit included multiple vram options.
Obviously, that was wrong.
