i have a p4s533 mb.. with 1009 bios.. can i upgrade to 2.8 ghz?? right now i have a 1.6 ghz in it running at 2.2ghz o/c stable. Is it worth buying an original 2.8 ghz cpu to put in it? anyone know if i can do this? i was told i can go as hi as 2.8ghz. but i went to newegg.com and saw they have so many different types of 2.8 ghz cpu's 533 fsb, 400 fsb, 800 fsb. which one is right for my mb? i think its the 533 fsb. thanks

You have a really good single channel P4 board, but I don't think the 2.8B (533 bus) is worth the price considering the moderate performance gain. You could get 1/2 that gain for 1/2 that price simply changing to a nice dual channel board and putting your RAM in dual channel configuration (assuming you have an identicle pair of modules right now). The new board would give you the option of upgrading to even better components later, which your current board doesn't support.
