So will start straight to the point. I have ASUS K53E laptop, although in bios update log shows p53e. But that wouldnt be the issue. So i wanted to reinstall windows a fresh, but it just didnt want to boot from dvd. To be more precise, the dvd device just doesent show up in bios, tried couple other dvd roms but no changes. Then thought i could install from flash or external drive, but it just stays in black, like normaly would see just before windows boot would ask to press any key. As that didnt work, even tried to copy directly windows instal files on hdd, but same reaction. Altho i had no issues with launching win7 install just from external hard even without making bootable media, but just having full copy of windows. So i tried every single option in bios, updated it to latest, searched in web for advices but just nothing. Hard is in working condition, rams are ok, dvd drive is ok, tested all on other laptop. It just this one just doesent want to work as supposed XD
any ideas, anything ? Really feel desperate, on verge of ragequit the laptop against the wall.

Ok, so in the end managed to put windows on. What I did, took out hard drive, completely erased and put a windows instalation with soft that makes bootable drives. At the moment everything goes well, just couple of times after restart hard dissapeared from bios, so the pc looged in straight in bios. And ofc dvd drive still aint working. But at least pc is working for now 😀
