asus P55T2P4

Hi, I got 3 asus P55T2P4 rev. 3.10 cases and boards for free. I can get an AMD K6-2 475 ACK with a 2.0 core V. The boards only have 256kb on board with the COAST slot to jump to 512 But they were not included.
I read that the cpu will work in this board (ACK is mobile cpu?) I read that I may have to slow down memory and disk drive. I assume I set drive to PIO mode 3 to slow it down but not sure how to do the memory.
Anyone out there that is real familiar with the asus p55t2p4? I already flashed the bios to 207. how fast can I get it to go and be stable? Using goldenram 16MB EDO 60ns simms(4), expert98 video 8 MB, 1.6gb WD drive, isa sound, modem, and a linksys PCI net card.
I know.... humor me.... I am a poor father of two and kids want to play C&C via network.

I can tell you, but you'll have to pay me, send me those other two motherboards. Now that you have those on their way:
You can get either 450 or 500 out of it. For the proper voltages go to <A HREF="http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000725/t2p4-01.html" target="_new">http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000725/t2p4-01.html</A>
To get the 6x multiplier, set it to 2x, and the CPU will interpret it to 6x. To see how, read <A HREF="http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000725/t2p4-03.html" target="_new">http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000725/t2p4-03.html</A>
Finally you will get 450MHz at 75MHz bus and 500MHz at 83MHz bus using that 2x=6x. Read <A HREF="http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000725/t2p4-02.html" target="_new">http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000725/t2p4-02.html</A>

Thanks for the info Crashman, The boards are on the way ( even though I don't understand what a person like you would want with old boards like these ) Any Ideas as far as the memory settings? I read that even though you set it to auto detect it is better to set it to manual and tweak the settings for memory but not sure what settings to leave alone and what to try and tweak. I will read the pdf of the manual again and see If I can figure it out. thanks again.

Go to the memroy forum to figure out what these things mean-you want to run the lowest Cas Latency settings that you can run stable at. As you increase your bus speed, it may become necessary to run slower Cas Latency settings to maintain stability. As for your earlier hard drive question, there are no adjustments needed there. And I refurbish systems-I can get $100 more out of a 450 than a 200, but a board, cpu, and cooler (inclucing shipping) normally cat $100, so unless I can get some free motherboards I can't do it.

Thanks for the info Crashman, If I come across any boards that I want to give up I will keep you in mind.
