Could anybody tell me wether it is possible to run this mobo (it is Rev 1.2 with scsi onboard) with a faster cpu? currently it runs with an IBM/cyrix PR233 MMX at round 200 MHz. If yes, what jumper has to set how? and which cpu you would rec. (AMD K6 2 500?) Thanx Saty

If you want to save $50, you don't really need the Powerleap converter. The 2.2v versions of the K6-2 will run on your motherboard at 2.5v core (I've used up to 2.8v without problems) if you provide adequate cooling. The 400 will run at 6x66=400 if you set your voltage to 2.5v (see the website) and your multiplier at 2x. The K6-2's above 350MHz interpret 2x as 6x, giving you the necessary multiplication without adding a converter. Your bios will probably read 133, but any standard clock testing program such as wcpuid will show that it is indeed operating at 400.

Suicide is painless...........

I made the overcloking on my P55T2P4S , I now have it running a 400 Mhz AMD K6-2, also added a Promisse UltraDMA 66 controller. The old computer looks like new
!!!
I think it is really cool not to have to throw away your old equipment :)
