I have a couple older motherboards I'd like to get a few more miles out of. Has anyone put an AMD K6/2-500 CPU in either one of these?

Does anyone know if it's possible to jumper the core voltage down to 2.2 (not documented by manufacturers)? If not, should I just forget it? Will I just toast the CPU if I attempt to run it at a higher setting (like 2.9)? What are the ramifications of doing so?

Thanks, Steve

I have ran a few standard 2.2v K6-2's at 2.8v for extended periods of time with total reliability, but only at 400MHz, because the boards I was using would only support 66MHz bus. I used PIII coolers on all of them.
