Hello,

I currently have the Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard and it has recently failed. I looked online for a exact replacement but am having some difficulty since the motherboard is so old. However, I do see a Asus P5B Deluxe/WIFI edition. Would I be able to use the WIFI edition without any problems? I am looking to avoid reinstalling the OS which is why I want to find one without wifi but am having difficulty locating.

Thank You!

Shouldn't no...back up your data files to be safe, but just put it together and start it up, Win will look things over and try to configure, then when running, update the latest drivers from the mobo site....then run a registry cleaner like Wise, to clean out the old junk, will prob have to re-authenticate your Win copy, which is no big deal, takes about 10 minutes
